Cryptocurrency took a beating in 2018.
Join us for pre-holiday cocktails and networking as we review the past year and explore what it means for crypto and blockchain in 2019.
Thursday, November 29, 6:00PM - 8:30PM
The founders and management team of PascalCoin (in NY for the week from Australia) invite you to join them for pre-holiday cocktails and conversation, at FMW Media TV Production Studio in NYC, to explore the impact and implications of a tumultuous year in crypto that surprised everyone. Can crypto make a comeback in 2019?
In addition to an intimate panel of experts analyzing the most controversial and consequential developments of the year, and forecasting what we can expect (and should prepare for) in 2019, guest speakers will also discuss highlights from the Consensus: Invest 2018 Conference (held the day before this event).
Why did crypto crash so badly in 2018? What are the underlying forces at play that drove the crash (economics, social, technological, etc.)? How are enterprise companies, banks and governments responding and changing their crypto/blockchain strategy for 2019? What lessons should we take away from this past year and what will the potentially positive outcome be? Is Distributed Ledger Technology living up to the hype? Attendees will participate in an interactive Q&A discussion with panelists.
Food (including vegan options), wine and beverages to be served.
